The Buckley Institute welcomed former U.K. Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson to speak at Yale on Thursday, October 9, at 7pm. Johnson will give a talk titled, “The U.S. & U.K.: A Special Alliance that Must Work Together to Save the West,” before taking questions.


There are few better positioned to talk about the importance of the U.S.-U.K. relationship than former British Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson. In 2019, Johnson led his Conservative Party to an election win with the highest vote share received by any British political party since 1979. Johnson went on to deliver Brexit in line with the 2016 U.K. Referendum and launched a visionary agenda of domestic policy reform. Johnson’s insight and perspective are sought after around the world.
