On Thursday, September 25, at 4:30pm, the Buckley Institute hosted the first Firing Line Debate of the semester on the resolved “Global Order Needs U.S. Power.” American Enterprise Institute Senior Fellow and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies Professor Hal Brands was in the affirmative while Yale University Lecturer in History and Co-Director of the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy Michael Brenes took the negative.
